Kids having fun while learning about God

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Kids were having a blast and learning about God at Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro on Monday.

Kanakuk Kamp Out is underway this week.

Kanakuk is a traveling day camp that offers children 5 days of faith-based day camp activities.

“Zip lines, rock walls, bungee jumping, trampolines, water slides, slip and slides and then we have some fun with different Kanakuk games we've come up with and invented,” Off-site Director Brent Potter said. "But kids get to have a blast doing that and then everyday they get to hang out with a cool college counselor and learn more about what the Bible teaches.”

Around 150 children are attending the camp.
