Silver Alert activated for missing Paragould man

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

The Paragould Police Department has activated a silver alert for a missing Greene County man.

David G. Bailey, 62, of Paragould was last seen by his roommate on July 30.

He was last known to be at 402 North 10th Avenue, near the senior center on North 12th Street.

Bailey is insulin dependent and does not have his supplies with him.

He may be traveling in a silver, 2002 Kia Spectra with Arkansas license plate number 807PZW.

He is about 5’10’’ and weighs 255 pounds.

As of August 5, police did not receive any information about Bailey. Captain Phillip Faulkner with the Paragould Police Department said they believe he didn't have relatives close by.

"As far as we know he doesn't have any family in this area," Faulkner said. "His roommate said he thought he had some family up in the Chicago area but did not have any names or contact information. We''ve not had any leads on this yet."

If you have seen Bailey or know where he may be, contact the Paragould Police Department at (870) 236-7621.
