SIKESTON, MO (KAIT) - The Sikeston Department of Public Safety is searching for 2 men wanted in connection to a shooting.
Police received a call of shots fired in the 500-block of John R Blvd. around 4 p.m. on July 30.
When officers arrived at the scene they found several bullet casings in the road near Monte Circle and John R Blvd.
Police were told 2 men, later identified as Orlando "TJ" Sheron, Jr, 20, and Dwayne Harris, Jr, 23, both of Sikeston were shooting at each other at the intersection.
Neither man is thought to have been hit during the shooting.
Since the shooting, Sikeston DPS has been actively searching for both men, who now have warrants for their arrest through the Scott County Court.
Sheron is charged with assault-first degree, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon. He was issued a $50,000 cash-only bond.
Harris is charged with assault-first degree and armed criminal action. He was issued a $50,000 cash-only bond.
According to a press release, Sikeston DPS believes both men are hiding out in nearby cities.
They are asking anyone with information about their exact whereabouts to call the Crime Stopper's Hotline at 573-471-1500 or at the 24-hour dispatch line at 573-471-4711.
All information will remain anonymous.
A cash reward is available to anyone who has information leading to their arrest.
