Jonesboro man accused of Medicaid fraud

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Craighead County man is accused of fraud after state investigators say he billed thousands of dollars to Medicaid.

The Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit arrested Emmett Paul Milam, 45, of Jonesboro on one count of fraud.

Milam is accused of billing the Arkansas Medicaid Program more than $55,000 for services not rendered. A Class B felony, according to Attorney General Leslie Rutledge.

Milam is currently free on bond.

According to the Arkansas Secretary of State, Milam is the owner of Therapy Solutions of NEA, Inc.
