JONESBORO, AR - Former State Representative Don House (D) of Walnut Ridge this morning revealed his plans to seek the office of State Treasurer.  House is en route to Little Rock this morning to formally file with the Secretary of State's office the papers necessary for forming an exploratory committee.  "The exploratory committee actually allows me to raise funds for my future campaign.  In addition to that, it allows me to let citizens of the state, friends and neighbors...know that I'm serious about running for this office," House said this morning while visiting the K8 Newsroom.

House, a Walnut Ridge business owner, served three terms in the House of Representatives between 1999 and 2004 before being term-limited.
