Fire sale rekindles business for two Union Street shops

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Eden Medical Spa & Boutique and Noah, The Children's Boutique, made up for some lost business Tuesday with a "fire sale."

fire at 411 Union Street in downtown Jonesboro damaged Eden and Noah, along with several other businesses.

All smoke and water exposed items were priced under $25 Tuesday.

The hot prices attracted enough customers to pack the building on Stallings Lane.

Many waiting in line to check out said they just want to help these businesses after such a devastating loss.

"We want to support them as much as possible," said Rachel McQuay, a regular customer. "We love small-town businesses. That's where we get all of our clothes."

Employees said Eden and Noah will reopen by the end of next week at a temporary location.

They will be at the former NEA Baptist training facility at 2905 Caprice.

They still do not know the fate of their building on Union.

The fire sale continues through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., or until the items are gone.
