HARRISBURG, AR (KAIT) - A Harrisburg man is facing a murder charge in the death of another man.
Joshua Mason Farmer, 33, was arrested Thursday evening in connection to the death of 46-year-old Jefferson Scott Crawford. Crawford was shot and killed on Aug. 8 in Harrisburg.
Farmer is charged with first degree murder and possession of firearms by certain persons, according to Poinsett County Sheriff Larry Mills.
A cash-only bond of $250,000 was set during a probable cause hearing Friday morning.
The next court date for Farmer is set for Sept. 25.
Mills says the murder investigation remains active and his department is awaiting results from evidence submitted to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.
