Suspected drug dealer arrested after chase

LYNN, AR (KAIT) - Police arrested a suspected drug dealer in Lawrence County.

Henry Boyce, prosecuting attorney for the Third Judicial District, released information Monday stating the arrest was made on Aug. 22.

Mindy Neal, 34, of Smithville was arrested after an early morning, high-speed chase that ended on a road around Lynn, Boyce said.

Police seized over one ounce of methamphetamine, pharmaceuticals and a "substantial amount of cash."

The seizure indicates the suspect was a drug distributor, according to Boyce.

Neal is in custody and is awaiting charges.

Agents with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, Third Judicial Drug Task Force, Arkansas State Police and Ravenden Police Department were involved in the investigation.
