Harvard Report Says Arkansas Students Less Likely to Binge Drink

LITTLE ROCK, AR - A report due next month from Harvard University has found that Arkansas college students are less likely to binge drink than other students nationwide.

And even though the statistics find a low drinking rate, administrators at schools across the state say they are still going to be cautious and support programs to discourage heavy drinking, especially as colleges move toward spring break.

The Harvard report found that students across the country tended to drink more heavily if more adults in the same state drank heavily too.
