JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro police are investigating an incident where multiple car windows were shot out by a BB gun.

An officer was called to 3412 Sun Ave. and met with a man who said that just before 10 p.m. Tuesday he heard glass breaking in the parking lot outside his apartment.

The man noticed the back window of his truck was broken along with three other vehicles that had been damaged.

Officer Joe Robinson said in the police report the windows appeared to have been shot with a BB gun.

One of the vehicles, a Volvo, sustained 16 shots to the front windshield. A Nissan SUV had both passenger side windows broken. And a Saturn had both driver side windows broken.

The incident report states the suspect or suspects appeared to have been shooting just south and southeast of building H.

Several cameras are used at the complex.

The apartment manager told Robinson he would review video surveillance and contact police with any footage.
