Lincoln Hosts "Lunch With Your Senator" Today in West Memphis

WEST MEMPHIS, AR - U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln took advantage of the current Congressional recess by hosting a "Lunch With Your Senator" town meeting in West Memphis today.

The state's senior senator met with constituents from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shoney's Restaurant in West Memphis for a "Dutch treat" style luncheon.

    Independence County's recycling program is costing the county thousands of dollars.

    According to Judge Robert Griffin of Independence County, they're burning more hydrocarbons traveling through remote areas than what they're saving through recycling.
