Arkansas' Williams most likely headed to NFL after season

FAYETTEVILLE, AR (AP) - Injured Arkansas running back Jonathan Williams says he'll "most likely" leave for the NFL following this season.

Williams is expected to miss this season after injuring his left foot during a scrimmage two weeks ago and later having surgery.

The senior, who led the Razorbacks with 1,190 yards rushing last season, could potentially redshirt this season and return next year. However, after already bypassing the NFL draft once following last season, he's looking ahead to "the next level" while still being a member of the Arkansas program this year.

Williams says he didn't suffer a fracture in his foot, but he did have two screws inserted to help a torn ligament heal. He expects the rehabilitation to take 4-5 months.
