Federal Senator Heads Back To School

February 23, 2005—Posted 6:00 pm CST

Turrell, AR—Senator Mark Pryor headed through Region 8 today and made several stops to comment on legislation moving through Washington DC.  Pryor talked to students at Turrell High School about the importance of not only completing your high school education but also heading to college.

“If they invest the time and effort in themselves and head off to college and maybe even get their masters degree, their income levels they will see them mushroom.”  Pryor said.

Kids not only listened but also were excited about heading to school.  “It is going to be tough.” According to senior Donna Rosby.  “I know it is going to be a big financial step but I am hoping for the best.”
