CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

An officer was called to a reported shooting outside a club south of Jonesboro.

The Craighead County Sheriff's Department report states Deputy Dustin Norwood was called to the Ruff Ryders Club on Arkansas Highway 1 Sunday around 4 a.m.

Norwood met with a man in the club parking lot. The man told the officer the window of his SUV had been shot out.

The victim told Norwood he was in the club packing up his photography equipment when he heard gunfire from outside. Once outside he noticed the bullet hole in his front passenger window.

Norwood states in the report the victim's SUV was parked at the time of the shooting and it appeared there may have been a fight sometime during the night.

In one area the officer said he found a piece of jewelry and a small caliber handgun casing. The items were photographed and taken into evidence.

It was noted in the report the club had a party the night before with over 200 people. However, no witnesses reported seeing the incident happen. There were no injuries reported.
