IZARD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - An Izard County man is facing several drug charges after deputies found almost 200 marijuana plants in his mobile home.

The Izard County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant Aug. 21 on an old mobile home owned by Bill Dale Eaton.

It was located near Eaton's house in Brockwell.

The mobile home contained almost 200 marijuana plants at various stages of growth.

According to Sheriff Tate Lawrence, the charges, which were formalized Aug. 24, include felonies for possession of marijuana with the purposes to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to grow marijuana, maintaining a drug premise and growing marijuana.

He is also charged with a misdemeanor for assault from another incident.

Eaton posted a bond of $15,000 and was released from the Izard County Sheriff's Department.

The Izard County Sheriff's Department was assisted by the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

Eaton is expected back in district court Sep. 3 and had a circuit court date of Feb. 15.
