Civic and service organizations, church and youth groups, school groups and clubs are invited to participate.
"We are encouraging Boy Scouts, Cub Scout, church groups or any individual who just wants to come out and join us, help keep the part clean is invited," Whaley said.
Volunteers will meet in the open field beside Walcott Lake to receive direction, sign in and pick up supplies. Supplies such as safety vests, trash bags, and work gloves will be provided to volunteers; however you are welcome to bring your own, as well.
