Courtroom brawl lands 4 behind bars

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Craighead County sheriff’s deputies arrested four men Wednesday following a courtroom brawl.

According to the initial incident report, the fight broke out in the Craighead County Court Annex, 511 Union, shortly after 9:30 a.m.

An investigator said he was walking toward the judge’s bench when he “heard a noise that sounded like a punch being thrown in a fight.”

When the detective turned around he reportedly saw “several individuals pushing and shoving each other.”

The detective, along with several deputies, arrested the four suspects and took them to the Craighead County Detention Center where they were each charged with disorderly conduct.

The suspects are:

  • Cedric Wayne White, 59, of Fort Worth, TX
  • Larry Darnell Fields, 59, of Dallas, TX
  • Timothy Joe Fields, 34, of Fayetteville, AR
  • Tradeus Ray Vaughn, 52, of West Memphis, AR
