TRUMANN, AR (KAIT) - A Trumann girl will be peddling to school once again after a police officer's donation.
The Trumann Police Department stated on their Facebook page that a 15-year-old girl reported her bicycle stolen Thursday. Police say the girl was distraught because the bike was her "only mode of transportation to school."
Sergeant Chad Mason, according to the post, went to Walmart and bought the girl a new bicycle. Mason recently asked the community for help with his own child, the post explained.
The photos on social media have garnered a massive response with over 6,800 likes and nearly 2,000 shares.
