JPD: Woman shoots at robbery suspects

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A Jonesboro woman shot at a would-be intruder late Thursday night.

According to the incident report from the Jonesboro Police Department, a woman was in bed Thursday night at her home in the 2900 block of Willow Road when her dog started barking.

She got up and said she saw two men, one on her front porch and another going to the back.

The report states she warned the man at the front porch she had a gun.

A few seconds later, she says he kicked the door open and she shot at him.

It's not known if the shot hit the suspect.

A short time later, police arrested two men on a traffic stop that matched the description of the suspects.

Police arrested Deandre Jones and Rodshay Walker. Both men are in the Craighead County Jail, charged with aggravated robbery.
