Blytheville police investigate rape case

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Blytheville police responded to a rape case early Monday morning.

According to a police report, the victim said she was raped by an employee at Lucky's Market on South Division Street in Blytheville.

The victim stated she was hanging out with friends at the market around midnight to 1:30 Monday morning. While at the market, the victim said the employee offered her 2 free beers.

The victim told police she asked the employee if she could use the restroom before the market closed.

When the victim went inside the employee followed her to the back

According to the report, the employee locked the bathroom door and sexually assaulted the victim.

No arrests have been made.
