Dollar General seeks to sell wine in Poinsett County

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT) -

In addition to beer, Dollar General Stores in Poinsett County now want to sell wine.

According to the latest weekly report from the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration’s Alcoholic Beverage Control Divisions, three stores applied for small farm winery-retail permits during the week ending Sept. 4.

Stores applying for the permit are:

  • Dollar General #532, 212 Hester Parker Dr. in Marked Tree
  • Dollar General Store #7386, 329 W. Broad St. in Lepanto
  • Dollar General Store #3886, 831 Hwy. 463 North in Trumann

The board also received a Private Club change of manager application from Cheddar’s Casual Café of Jonesboro, 2123 Red Wolf Blvd.
