Robbery victim: man put gun to son's head, demanded everything

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

A Blytheville woman told police two men put a gun to her son's head, then robbed her.

According to an incident report from the Blytheville Police Department, it happened in the 1900 block of Westgate Street. The woman told police she was looking for her phone in her vehicle Tuesday night when two black men approached her with long guns.

She told police one of the men asked her for her purse, to which she responded "Are you serious?"

She said that's when the second man put a gun to her 16-year-old son's head and demanded everything she had.

She told police she gave the men her phone and her purse. She said they then took off on foot toward 10th Street.

The victim said one of the suspects was wearing a white shirt with a black bandana on his face. The other suspect was wearing a white shirt and had a blue bandana on his face.
