JONESBORO, AR (ASU) – Arkansas State held its 19th annual Order of the Pack pep rally Thursday night at Centennial Bank Stadium to recognize its student-athletes for their commitment to A-State and to induct a new class of students into the Red Wolves family.
Members of the Student Activities Board and Student Government Association reflected on the history and tradition surrounding Red Wolves athletics and student-athletes were recognized for their commitment to A-State.
Chancellor Dr. Tim Hudson, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Dr. Rick Stripling and Director of Athletics Terry Mohajir addressed the student body, thanking them for their support of the Red Wolves and encouraging them to continue that support at events and in the community.
Head football coach Blake Anderson addressed the crowd at the end of the pep rally and encouraged the student-body to show their support on game days.
The Sound of the Natural State marching band and the A-State Spirit Squads led the crowd in traditional A-State cheers to get the students excited for the upcoming season.
Tickets for the Red Wolves’ 2015 football season are on sale at the A-State Ticket Office, located at the Convocation Center’s lower red entrance. The ticket office can be contacted at 870-972-2781 and ticket information is also available on the Ticket Central Page on AStateRedWolves.com. Tickets remain available for the home opener versus Missouri on Saturday at 6 p.m.
