JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A hot pizza delivery leads to a fake money investigation.

According to a Jonesboro police report, a Domino's delivery driver was given a fake $20 bill and 2 fake $5 bills late Friday night.

The pizza was delivered to the 500-block of Wilkins Avenue in Jonesboro.

The worker delivered the pizza order of $27.11 to a white male.

The man gave him cash for the pizza, but the driver told police he could tell the money looked unusual.

According to the report, the Domino's employee stopped at a gas station to borrow a counterfeit detection pen.

He marked the 3 bills with the pen, and they appeared to be fake.

The delivery driver then called his manager and reported the incident.

An officer was called to the Domino's on Stadium Blvd.

Police confirmed the bills were fake.

The report states police were able to get additional information about the man who ordered the pizza from the Domino's computer system.

Photos of the computer screen and the fake bills were submitted into evidence.
