One shot and 2 robbed at apartments near A-State

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

One person was shot and 2 were robbed at an apartment complex in Jonesboro over the weekend.

According to a Jonesboro police report, officers were called to the Wolf Creek Apartments at 500 N. Caraway Rd. around 2 a.m. Sunday.

When officers got to the scene, a black 21-year-old man had been shot in the back.

A witness and another officer were working to treat his wound.

Two others were robbed inside their apartments.

One of the victims told police he was held at gunpoint while 3 black males stole $400 from his apartment.

The other robbery victim said he was playing video games when the 3 suspects came inside his apartment and stole $40 from his wallet.  

The police report states the suspects were driving a silver Jeep Liberty with no tags.

The gunshot victim was taken to St. Bernards Medical Center for treatment.
