Memphis Man files another Jonesboro Auction Accident Lawsuit

Another lawsuit has been filed as a result of an auction accident in Jonesboro back in February 2003.

Earlier this week Karl Blackmon of Memphis filed a lawsuit seeking $100,000 in damages.

The accident occurred when a 1996 Kia Sephia, James Thompson was driving, went out of control as it entered the auction building for viewing.

After the crash, engineers found out that the car had a defective clutch.

Blackmon's lawsuit alleges that the accident occurred because of negligence and that he suffered internal injuries, a severe muscle strain, and knee injuries, as well as severe fright and shock.
