Second suspect arrested in jewelry store robbery, bond set at $1 million

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The second suspect in a Jonesboro jewelry store robbery was arrested over the weekend.

Antonio M. Wilson, 30, of Jonesboro was arrested Saturday on charges of aggravated robbery and theft of property valued in excess of $25,000.

Wilson is one two suspects accused of robbing Diamond Gems on Red Wolf Blvd. on the morning of June 29.

He appeared in district court Monday, where he was formally charged and given a bond of $1 million.

The other suspect, Kerry Kindred, 43, of Jonesboro, was arrested on Aug. 6. He also remains in the Craighead County Jail in lieu of $1 million bond.

One of the men, according to police, pointed a handgun at an employee and forced him to empty out a safe into a trash bag. The men then bound the clerk's hands after the robbery to prevent the employee from calling for help.
