PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - A group in Paragould is trying to fight child hunger with an upcoming food drive.
The Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Women's Council is sponsoring an Emergency Food Drive to benefit the backpack program at School of the 21st Century.
Items needed for the food drive include:
- Peanut Butter Crackers
- Cheese Crackers
- Peanut Butter (jars)
- Applesauce & Fruit Cups
- Pudding & Gelatin Cups
- Granola Bars
- Ramen Noodles
- Macaroni & Cheese Cups
- Soups (cans)
- Pop Tarts
- Fruit Snacks
- Fruit Rollups
- Breakfast Bars
- Instant Oatmeal
Other items are welcome, but must be easy to eat and require little to no preparation.
All donations can be taken to the AMMC Herget Atrium on Friday, Sept. 18, from 7:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.
