JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Historic bricks were found during construction on Arkansas State University's campus.
While working on the reconstruction of Arkansas State's Wilson Hall Monday, workers found bricks over 100 years old underground that belonged to a building built in 1911.
The building was called the A&M Administration Building and burned down on January 12, 1931.
The construction workers found a number of bricks.
The contractor for the construction site said it's not every day you find 100 year old bricks.
Thanks to an over $12 million plan, Wilson Hall is being renovated into the new NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Construction should be complete by August 2016.
