What to know about Suddenlink's digital upgrade

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Suddenlink customers in Jonesboro and Pocahontas may have to make a few changes after the company goes digital.

Tuesday morning, the cable company completed an upgrade to an all-digital TV lineup while adding more than 20 new high definition channels.

This digital TV offers superior picture and sound quality, according to a news release from Suddenlink.

Some of the new high quality channels include World Fishing Network HD, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries HD, Great American Country HD, Fantasy Sports Network HD, Home Shopping Network HD, QVC HD, The Weather Channel HD, and Sundance TV HD.

Suddenlink customers were notified of the upgrade weeks in advance.

Customers who had digital receivers connected to their TV sets should not have to do anything different.

Those that do not will need to get a receiver box for the all-digital transition.

Some customers may be able to re-scan for channels to accommodate the upgrade.
