Paramedic Memorial Service

More than 300 people gathered in Hope, AR yesterday for a memorial service for three paramedics who were killed in a collision between a train and an ambulance last weekend.

Twenty-three year olds Christopher Clingan and John Rook and 37 year old driver Jeffery Ferrand were killed when their ambulance was struck by a train at a crossing near Fulton.

The three had picked up a female stroke victim who survived the crash.

The Arkansas Ambulance Association said it was the deadliest accident involving an ambulance in the state in at least 25 years.
