JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A Jonesboro police officer was injured during an arrest early Thursday morning.

According to the report filed at the Jonesboro Police Department, Officer Jason Myers was hit in the nose when a suspect slammed a door in his face while trying to elude officers.

The report states several officers were responding to an apartment on Flint Street where a pair of known suspects with warrants had been located.  

Officers arrested three people at the scene.  

One of the suspects, Scotty Neal Morris, had a gun and knife in his possession, according to the report.

Morris was eventually subdued by a pair of officers before being transported to the Craighead County Detention Center.

Two other suspects were arrested. Jessica Bolin and Kaitlann Summers also face charges.

Officers report finding drugs and drug paraphernalia at the scene. They also listed the discovery of ammunition and a defaced pistol in the report.

The suspects face charges ranging from battery to drug possession. All three are in the Craighead County Detention Center awaiting formal charges.
