FINAL: Arkansas State 70, Missouri State 7

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Arkansas State earned its first victory of the season with a 70-7 victory over Missouri State on Saturday night at Centennial Bank Stadium.

The Red Wolves entered half time with a 42-0 lead over the Bears despite not having starting quarterback Fredi Knighten because of a groin injury that is only expected to keep him out for one week. James Tabary stepped up in his absence and threw for over 200 yards with 3 touchdowns.

Arkansas State now travels to Toledo for a rematch of the 2015 GoDaddy Bowl. Kick-off will be at 6:00 pm on Saturday.

Tune in to College Sports Live tonight after the USC/Stanford game on KAIT. Blake and Kamen will have a post game recap of this win including highlights and post game reaction.
