Jonesboro teen killed in Missouri crash

RIPLEY COUNTY, MO (KAIT) - A Jonesboro teen was killed in a crash in Missouri Saturday.

The wreck happened around 12:15 p.m. in Ripley County.

A 17-year-old boy was driving a Ford Mustang north on Route K, about 10 miles north of Doniphan, when the car ran off the road, hitting a fence and a tree stump.

Colton R. Hart, 17, was pronounced dead on the scene by Ripley County Coroner Mike Jackson.

Hart was a passenger in the car and was not wearing a seat belt.

The driver was also not wearing a seat belt.

He and a 15-year-old passenger were both taken by ambulance to a Ripley County Hospital.
