Copper stolen from Craighead Co. construction site

CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

The Craighead County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after copper was stolen from a construction site.

A man contacted the sheriff’s department Wednesday morning after arriving at a house he was building in the 3800-block of Highway 351.

When crews got to the house that morning, they noticed that all of the copper wire installed in the house was missing.

It’s not clear yet how much damage was done. The man is going to have an electrician look at the house.

The man also wasn’t sure if anything else was damaged or stolen.
