JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Arkansas State Red Wolves struggled in their GoDaddy Bowl rematch with Toledo on Saturday night, falling to the Rockets by the final score of 37-7.
The Red Wolves were without senior quarterback Fredi Knighten, who warmed up originally but didn't start. Knighten missed his second straight game after pulling his groin in the second game of the season against Missouri. Redshirt Freshman James Tabary got the start.
Tabary struggled with several turnovers which strained the defense with rough field position multiple times throughout the game.
Arkansas State returns home to begin conference play against Idaho next Saturday.
Tune in to College Sports Live for a recap of the game, including an extended tribute to Bill Keedy, Red Wolves Color Commentator and former high school football coach who passed away prior to Saturday's game.
