JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - TripAdvisor recently released their list of the best places in the nation to see some beautiful fall colors and one Arkansas town made the cut.
Around 82% of travelers plan to take an autumn getaway and 49% are planning to view some fall foliage in the coming weeks, according to a recent TripAdvisor survey.
The travel site put together a list of the top destinations for viewing fall foliage, based on the quality and quantity of reviews and opinions from the travelers that use their service.
Eureka Springs is the fifth best U.S. destination to view the autumn season.
The town feels secluded in the Ozark Mountains and allows travelers to enjoy the vibrant, changing scenery from the banks of the Arkansas River or while exploring the mountains.
"It's very relaxing, especially in the fall with all the beautiful foliage," one traveler said.
The report limited the list to one city per state.
Eureka Springs ranked just below Niagara Falls on the list.
Stowe, Vermont earned the number one spot.

6. Park City, Utah
7. Asheville, North Carolina
