JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Jonesboro restaurant manager's day ended with her being robbed at gunpoint on the parking lot.
The 23-year-old manager of Dixie Café, 2406 S. Caraway, told police she had just gotten off work at 10 p.m. Monday when two African-American men approached her car.
According to the incident report, the men asked for all of her money.
The victim said one of the men had a "small black pistol, possibly a 9mm."
After giving the men $60, the woman said one of the men then asked where her phone was located.
When she told them the phone was inside the restaurant, the man reportedly said "I appreciate it."
She stated the suspects then walked south toward the Super 8 motel.
The victim said one of the suspects was in his mid-20s, approximately 5'7", with half-inch dreads. She said he was wearing a black polo shirt and a black rag around his mouth.
She said the second suspect was in his late 20s, approximately 6', wearing a black A-frame t-shirt and a black skullcap.
A K9 unit was called to the scene; but, it could not locate the suspects. According to the report, the dog lost the track around the Super 8 motel.
The case has been turned over to the Criminal Investigation Division.
