HORSESHOE BEND (KAIT) -

A woman reportedly grabbed the private parts of a man, who had assaulted her as she slept, and forced him from her home.

Timothy Scott Cannon, 23, of Horseshoe Bend was arrested on Sept. 26 and charged with residential burglary and second degree sexual assault, according to Izard County Sheriff Tate Lawrence.

The sheriff's department stated Cannon is accused of entering a house in Horseshoe Bend as the woman was sleeping.

The woman woke up to Cannon rubbing and touching her in a sexual way. He reportedly told the victim that "he was looking for sex."

Lawrence stated the victim then "grabbed Cannon in his private parts, squeezed and pushed him to the front door."

Cannon is in the Izard County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond.
