Woman strikes Kennett restaurant with vehicle, arrested for DWI

KENNETT, MO (KAIT) -

Police in Kennett found a woman struck a fast food restaurant and then arrested her.

A social media post from the Kennett Police Department stated officers were called to the area of 1st St. and Independence Ave. around 2:50 a.m. Monday for a woman reportedly passed out at the stop light.

Officers checked the area and found a woman, later identified as 37-year-old Crystal Collins of Kennett, had struck the Hardee's restaurant at 1136 1st St.

Police investigated and later arrested Collins for driving while intoxicated.

At the time of the post, the department stated Collins was being held in the Dunklin County Jail.
