Attorney General's Office reaches milestone

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Arkansas Attorney General's Office recently reached a new milestone.

Attorney General Leslie Rutledge announced Thursday that the mobile office, which was launched in May, has now held office hours in all 75 counties.

Rutledge joined her team helping Arkansans at the mobile office in Ash Flat Thursday and also stopped by the office in Batesville.

"I launched mobile offices because you should not have to get on the Internet, pick up the phone or drive to an office building in Little Rock to meet with a member of my staff," Rutledge said. "I could not be more proud of the work my staff has done to assist Arkansans in all 75 counties."

Rutledge created the mobile office initiative so that her office and staff would be accessible to everyone, not just those who call Little Rock home.

Attorney General Mobile Offices assist consumers in filing consumer complaints and answer questions about the full range of services provided by the Attorney General's Office.

Rutledge said she is committed to staying connected to Arkansans.

The Attorney General Mobile Office will be in Baxter County on Monday at the Van Matre Senior Center, 1101 Spring Street in Mountain Home, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
