POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) - The Randolph County Quorum Court has accepted a bid to replace the broken wheelchair lift in the courthouse.
The current lift is out of commission and the company that installed the lift no longer produces the parts needed to fix it.
The new wheelchair lift and installation of it will cost just under $52,000. That amount does not include what it will take to do electrical work on the lift.
Randolph County Judge David Jansen told Region 8 News that he expects everything to be complete in a few weeks.
Accessibility Lifts of Arkansas, located in Benton, AR won the bid.
