HOT SPRING, Ark. (AP) - A circuit judge in Hot Springs and his wife whose 18-month-old son died after being left in a hot car are asking for the public's patience during the investigation into the boy's death.
Judge Wade Naramore and Ashley Naramore issued a statement Friday saying they're cooperating with those investigating the July 24 death of Thomas Naramore. Hot Springs police say the boy died after being left alone in a hot car for an undetermined length of time.
The statement says the family has suffered "an unimaginable toll" due to "this catastrophic loss" and that they want the matter to come to a conclusion.
Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ellington of Jonesboro - who was appointed to review the case - said the investigation continues and he declined comment on the Naramore's statement.
