JPD: Man charged after shooting at apartment

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A man accused of opening fire on a Jonesboro apartment appeared in court Monday.

Craighead County District Judge Keith Blackman found probable cause to charge Keith L. Real, 24, of Jonesboro with aggravated assault and a terroristic act.

According to court documents, Real stood outside the front door of an apartment in the 600-block of East Alpine, and fired 5 to 7 shots at the residence.

Officers reportedly recovered a 9mm shell casing from the grass outside the apartment and found a bullet hole in the door facing.

Police said Real was "angry with one of the friends of the apartment's occupants."

Officers arrested Real a short time later on a traffic stop. Inside the car, they reportedly found a 9 mm pistol.

Blackman set Real's bond at $5,000.
