WEST PLAINS, MO - A southern Missouri grandmother has received three life sentences for the shooting deaths of her son-in-law and two grandchildren last year.

Pamela Burns, 52, of Pomona pleaded guilty in Howell County Circuit Court to three counts of first degree murder.

Prosecutors said she fatally shot Keith Bennett and his two children last May.

The 28-year-old son-in-law was found dead on the couch in his apartment.  The children, 6-year-old Klover Lawrence and 4-year-old Keith Bennett II, were found in a bathtub.
