Broadway classic comes to the Downtown Playhouse

POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) -

Neil Simon’s “The Sunshine Boys” will debut Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Downtown Playhouse in Pocahontas.

This comedy features two aging performers who were once vaudeville stars.

The former partners have become estranged over the years, but are pushed together to film a TV special.

The production stars Ken Benton of Corning, Ryan Cooper of Walnut Ridge, and Kelly Grooms of Pocahontas who is also serving as the director.

“The Sunshine Boys” will be staged Nov. 7, 13-14, 20-22, 27-28; and Dec. 4-6.

The cost is $18, which includes admission, dessert, and coffee.
