Crimestoppers: JPD looking for cell phone swiper

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Our crime of the week is a crime of opportunity.  A cell phone swipe that cost the victim a brand new iPhone 6.

The investigator on the case says a woman coming into the Goodwill Store on Caraway didn't have much good will.

According to the report, she’s suspected of snagging the phone from the victim's shopping cart while they were distracted.

Counting the phone and the new Otterbox this is listed as a $700 crime.  If you think you can make the ID on this suspect, it could be worth money.  Call in that tip to Crimestoppers at 935-STOP.

She doesn't have a lot of warrants, but when you're listed as a parole absconder, that bumps you up the list.

Shonna Tapper has five contempt of court warrants.

Christopher Keith is pushing 50 warrants.  He has warrants in several counties not to mention the warrants he has at JPD.

If you can lead police to Christopher Keith or Shonna Tapper, it's worth money.  Call in that tip right now to Crimestoppers at 935-STOP, or text it. Take your iPhone or Droid phone and type in 2-7-4-6-3-7 or type in the word "CRIMES" if your phone can do that.  Then, in the message, type in 935stop. One word, followed by your tip.  Hit send and you'll get a message back from Crimestoppers with your anonymous tip number.  This is yours to keep for any future reward.  That's how Crimestoppers works, 935-STOP.
