JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Prosecutors Thursday filed child pornography charges against a former Jonesboro children's pastor.
Scott Ellington, prosecuting attorney for the Second Judicial District of Arkansas, announced his office filed charges of video voyeurism and distributing/possessing/viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child against Anthony Waller, 39.
At the time of his arrest, Waller was employed by the First Assembly of God Church in Jonesboro.
Ellington said the church has "fully cooperated with the investigation."
The charges include a separate count for each incident of video voyeurism.
Ellington said in a news release, additional charges may be filed as evidence analysis continues and thanked the detectives investigating the case.
"I appreciate the hard work and dedication of the Jonesboro Police Department and in particular Detectives Brandon King, Earnest Ward, Gary Shackleford and Michael McCanless in collecting and analyzing the digital evidence," Ellington said.
