JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Neighbors in one Jonesboro community let a family know their house was on fire Friday morning.
Fire crews were called to the 2600-block Clayburne Dr. around 4 a.m.
Battalion Chief Marty Hamrick said firefighters arrived to two vehicles on fire which spread to part of the garage.
No one in the home was hurt, according to homeowner Mike Krzton.
"Neighbor beating on our window, telling us our house was on fire. We got our kids out just as soon as we could…. Everybody did make it out safe. That's really the only thing we were worried about," Krzton said.
Hamrick commended the neighbors saying, "They did a good job by getting up and getting those folks out."
There is not a lot of damage inside the home according to Krzton. He says the quick response by the Jonesboro Fire Department likely helped limit the damage.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
