KENNETT, MO (KAIT) - The Kennett Police Department was led on a high-speed chase Monday that ended with a teen behind bars.
Kennett officers tried to stop a Dodge truck around 3:50 p.m. for a traffic violation.
The truck led officers from the Kennett Police Department and the Dunklin County Sheriff's Department on a chase that went through several Dunklin County roads.
The pursuit ended when the truck tried to take a curve at a high speed and flipped.
The driver was a 13-year-old boy.
Police took the boy into custody and transported him to the Bloomfield Detention Center.
